It would not be an exaggeration to state that Bigg Boss is undoubtedly one of the most-loved shows on Indian television. The format of the reality TV show is such that fans are not only kept hooked and glued to the show, but they are also intrigued to know much more around the contestants and their personal lives.

Meanwhile, in the upcoming episode of Bigg Boss 17, one of the contestants, Jigna Vora, will be facing some tough questions. As shown in a new promo, in a ‘press conference’ activity, Jigna is asked some personal questions by the media. She can be seen expressing her dissatisfaction with the media due to the scrutiny and criticism of her character. She mentioned that she didn’t clarify her situation earlier because her son had said something when he visited her in jail.

Jigna Vohra gets emotional in press conference inside BB 17 house

During her interaction with the media, Jigna Vora becomes emotional, and fellow contestants Munawar Faruqui and Ankita Lokhande were seen shedding tears too, while watching her on screen from inside the house.

The promo showed a journalist asking Jigna Vora about her high-profile contacts and how it might have negatively affected her. In response, she turned the question around and asked if the journalist didn’t have contacts in the media industry as well.

Another journalist is seen questioning her about two specific incidents that she hasn’t forgotten, despite the passage of many years. Jigna Vora replied that she realised the significance of those incidents when her son told her that she couldn’t do all this. This realisation led her to understand that she didn’t need to justify herself to the world or the press.

Jigna Vora expressed her frustration with the media for making judgments about her character and for remarks made by female editors and reporters. She alluded to the assumption that she achieved success by “sleeping her way to the top” and implied that the editors who made such comments might have taken a similar path to reach their positions.
