Like every year, Arjun has shared a heartfelt wish for his late mother, along with a snapshot of a letter he wrote to her nearly 25 years ago.Arjun Kapoors letter reads, “Mother, what is a mother Some say it is a second name and form of God. I say a mother is a friend, a brother, and sometimes your father. My mother is more precious than gold, more soft than a petal of a flower, more enthusiastic than a teenager, and more lovable than myself.” The letter is signed “Your son, Arjun Kapoor,” and dated October 6, 1997 as he also added the post script: Keep Smiling.He further continued to reiterate his promises to his mother, vowing to never give up again and to gather strength every time the world tries to bring him down and will make her mother proud despite any challenge that comes his way. Arjun also has a tattoo on his right wrist with Maa written on it.The heartfelt note conveyed the actors love for his mother and said life has been a struggle throughout after her passing away. Arjuns mother Mona Shourie Kapoor died in 2012 after a prolonged battle with Cancer.
