TV actor Rituraj Singh passes away due to cardiac arrest at age 59

Reportedly, Rituraj Singh was suffering from some pancreatic disease and was hospitalised recently.

Indian television actor Rituraj Singh, known for his versatile roles in various TV shows, including Banegi Apni Baat, Jyoti, Hitler Didi, and Diya Aur Baati Hum, has passed away last night, leaving his fans and the entertainment industry in shock and sorrow. 

The actor was only 59 and was dealing with issues related to his pancreas and was hospitalised. 

Actor Amit Behl confirmed

The news of his unfortunated demise was confirmed by his friend actor Amit Behl who revealed that Rituraj was hospitalised due to issues related to pancreas. And while he was recently discharged he suffered cardiac complications after returning home and passed away. 

Rituraj Singh known for

Rituraj Singh is known for shows like Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Abhay 3 and Never Kiss Your Best Friend among others. He was also seen in Rupali Ganguly's superhit show, Anupamaa. Rituraj also worked in films like Satyamev Jayate 2 and Badrinath Ki Dulhania. 

Rituraj Singh Personal life

Born as Rituraj Singh Chandrawat Sisodia in Kota, Rajasthan, he belongeed to a  Sisodia Rajput family. Despite his roots in Rajasthan, Singh spent a significant part of his early life away from his home state. His schooling took place in Delhi. At a young age, he relocated to the United States, only to return to India when he was 12. In 1993, Singh made Mumbai his new home and has been settled there since.
