Ranbir Kapoor has always intrigued fans with his phenomenal performances and on-screen presence. Animal has been one of the most anticipated projects by the actor, and the trailer was released on Thursday, November 23. The trailer featured Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol, Rashmika Mandana, and Shakti Kapoor, among others, with Ranbir.

Decoding the trailer

Sandeep Reddy Vanga's gangster drama, Animal's Trailer, follows the plot of a father-son duo and the story that unfolds the saga of violence. A father-son duo carved in blood is the tagline of the film. The 3-minute, 36-second-long trailer focuses on the relationship of the father-son combo. Anil shines as a negligant father, while Ranbir's portrayal seems fiery as well.

You can notice that Ranbir Kapoor is speaking with his father, Anil Kapoor , at the opening of this trailer. Anil reacts like a son, and Ranbir acts like a parent. Following this, Anil is shown declaring in a scene that his son has turned into a criminal. Something more is conveyed by Bobby Deol 's bloodstained face, Ranbir's facial emotions, and the movie's trailer.
Even though Ranbir wore a fierce and angry expression throughout the movie, some fans theorise that Bobby's appearance suggests that Ranbir would turn cannibal in this production. On the other hand, no specific information is available about this. Now, Bobby, we won't know what's in there until the movie comes out.

Ranbir excels...

Ranbir Kapoor has protrayed a phenominal character in this venture on the outlook. Ranbir looks like a guy with a shaken psyche due to his childhood taruma's and an undying obsession to win over his father's love. It will be interesting to see how the plotline compliments the characterisation.

A mute antagonist?

While Ranbir's character shows an eery dark toned character, the antagonist played by Boby Deol might be a mute character in the film, as per recent rumours! Although he hasn't revealed any lines in the teaser or trailer, the film may confirm the rest, as Bobby's characterisation looks like that of an insane yet emotional guy who will stop at nothing.

That is a lot of runtime!

The makers and director of the film revealed recently that the film is about 3 hours, 21 minutes, and 16 frames long! which can be said to be the longest film of the recent past, as cinephiles look forward to the long runtime to unwrap the tale of violence on the big screen. The question arises: if the plot starts to lag, it may or may not affect the experience of the film because of the runtime.

Director's Dilema!

Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the writer, director, and editor of this film, hasn't had an easy past. Sandeep's previous release, aka Kabir Singh, received a bunch of cuts due to the violence, as per the board. Soon after, in an interview, the director mentioned, "They think this is violence; in my next film, I'll show them what violence is." This film is bound to set a new bar in the raw, rugged violence of characted coluping into a layered story.

The clash of patriotic violence

The film is all set to clash with Vikcy Kaushal's 'Sam Bahadur' on December 1. The Meghna Gulzar Partiotic biography Sam Bahadur on the life of Field Marshal 'Sam Manekshaw' will face tough competition with this mass mania.
