He enraged many people along the way and was ultimately assassinated at the age of 27.Diljit, who recently performed at Coachella, got a boost in his international profile in April when he became the first Punjabi artist to perform there, will do some of his own singing in the title role. It is also anticipated that Parineeti Chopra who is playing the lead and will also perform some original music.According to a statement made by an official of Netflix, “The companys priority is to introduce local fans to stories from all around India. We are convinced that the allure of this story will also spark the curiosity of moviegoers all over the world.”The project reunites the acclaimed musician and composer AR Rehman and Imtiaz Ali. the duo previously worked together for the Bollywood hits like Rockstar (2011) and Highway (2014).Imtiaz and Sajid Ali wrote the “Amar Singh Chamkila” script together. The movies producers for Netflix are Mohit Choudhary, Select Media Holdings, Saregama, and Reliance Entertainment. Netflix will release the movie on its service in all countries in 2024.
