Hey Folks! Remember Anees Bazmees directorial Welcome Yes! It was one of the super hits in 2007. Then years later, the makers came up with its sequel titled Welcome Back. And now, its third part, Welcome To The Jungle (Welcome 3) is all set to be released next year. But, ahead of its release, the film has ended up in trouble with the Federation of Western India Cine Employees ( FWICE).Welcome 3 in trouble!Reportedly, the federation has put a halt to the films shooting over non-payment of outstanding amounts.For those who are unaware, Welcome 3, titled Welcome To The Jungle, is the third film in the Welcome franchise, starring Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Disha Patani, Raveena Tandon, Lara Dutta, Paresh Rawal and several others. Interestingly, the film is scheduled for a release on December 20 next year.Meanwhile, the FWICE has appealed to Viacom 18, CEO Jyoti Despande and other actors-technicians of Firoz Nasiadwalas Welcome To The Jungle to act upon the producer to pay the outstanding amount of director Anees Bazmee, whose cheques have bounced.Thats not it, a non-cooperation was also issued against Firoz Nadaidwala by the FWICE three years ago.Why FWICE halts filmNow, the report suggests that FWICE has written to all actors of Welcome 3 including Khiladi Kumar and Disha Patani. They have asked the actors not to shoot for the film unless the producer pays the dues of the technicians of Welcome 2.Speaking to the media, the President of FWICE said, “We have informed all the actors of the film, including Akshay Kumar and Disha Patni, that the federation has issued a non-cooperation on Firoz Nadiadwala for defaulting payments, and that they should not shoot for the film unless pending dues of ₹2 crore is cleared for the technicians. Firoz Nadiadwala had paid the technicians of Welcome 2 in 2015 and the amount was about ₹4 crore, which was later reduced to ₹2 crore. However, Nadiadwala stopped payment of the cheque after we deposited it.”He added, “We issued non-cooperation in 2015, but will implement it now, as he has finally begun work on his next film and we will not allow him to shoot it till the payment is cleared.”About Welcome To The JungleThe comedy film Welcome To The Jungle is helmed by none other than Ahmed Khan, starring big stars like Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi and more.
