Ajaz Khan, known for his participation in Bigg Boss 7, was apprehended by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) at Mumbai airport in 2021 in relation to a drug case. In March 2021, he was arrested by the NCB for possessing 31 tablets of Alprazolam weighing a total of 4.5 grams. After a two-year period of imprisonment, Ajaz has recently been granted bail. This development brings joy to his family, with his wife eagerly looking forward to his release and their reunion.

In 2022, the Bombay High Court denied bail to Ajaz Khan, stating that the charge-sheet presented against him provided initial evidence of his involvement in the crime. The court noted that the charge-sheet indicated financial transactions leading to illegal drug trafficking and purchase.

After serving a two-year prison sentence, Ajaz Khan has been granted bail and will be released from Arthur Road jail today, May 19, at approximately 6.40 pm.

In a statement, Ajaz’s wife, Andrea Asha Khan, expressed joy and excitement, stating that it is a joyful moment for their family. She eagerly awaits Ajaz’s return home and mentions how they have deeply missed him throughout these years. Ajaz ‘s wife says “ it is a happy moment for us and can’t wait to see him at home with us , we have missed him immensely these years .

Ajaz Khan was apprehended by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) on allegations of involvement with drug peddlers Farooq Batata and his son Shadab Batata. According to officials, Ajaz not only consumed drugs procured from Shadab Batata but also engaged in drug peddling activities himself. This information was presented to the court during the proceedings.
