Spreading rumours around celebs and their personal lives is not a new fad in Bollywood. But saying and spreading anything related to a celeb’s health is way too much. Aaradhya Bachchan, daughter of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Abhishek Bachchan, filed a complaint with the Delhi High Court accusing a YouTube channel of spreading untrue information about her health.
As a result, the Delhi High Court this week ordered multiple YouTube channels to stop posting inaccurate information on the health of Aaradhya Bachchan, because doing so reflects “morbid perversity.”
During a press conference, while promoting the second half of Mani Ratnam’s historical drama “Ponniyin Selvan: II”, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan was asked about the irrelevant news content that hurts people emotionally and sentimentally. Since the case has been registered against the YouTuber, who shared misleading information about Aaradhya, this is the first time she has opened up on the same. She said, “It’s so nice that a member from the media only is recognising that it does exist. So that gives us great hope that you are not going to perpetuate that, you are not going to encourage that and thank you very much for your wise recognition of the negative impact of false writing or unnecessary writing which is insensitive and unnecessary. So, thank you so much for your support for the sentiment that we all share and for your wisdom in recognising that.”
Aishwarya’s protectiveness towards her daughter is quite visible everywhere. She makes sure that her daughter has her company most of the times.
For those who are unaware, there have been reports and videos over the past few days suggesting false information concerning Aaradhya Bachchan’s health. Bachchan family has now filed legal action against certain YouTube channels, claiming that the videos are unfounded and misleading. However, despite being physically fine and not having been hospitalised, the misleading news is having a terrible mental impact on 11-year-old Aaradhya. She was also present at public gatherings when the fake news first gained popularity.

On the work front, the upcoming Mani Ratnam’s, starring Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Jayam Ravi, Vikram, Karthi, Trisha Krishnan and Aishwarya Lekshmi is set to release on April 28. Currently, Aishwarya can be seen in promotional events of “Ponniyin Selvan: II”, the second part of filmmaker Mani Ratnam’s screen adaptation of author Kalki Krishnamurthy’s 1955 Tamil novel of the same name.
According to insiders, when questioned if Mani Ratnam’s involvement with a project was sufficient for her to accept the film, she referred to the senior director as her teacher and stated she did not hesitate after receiving the offer from him. “It comes naturally, yes. I always say yes when he invites me to work on one of his movies. That is unavoidable. You can describe it as my love, gratitude, or tribute to my guru. You can give it any name you like.”
She further explained the joy of working with Mani Ratnam, “Every actor would love to work with the director,” she added.
Aishwarya Rai Bachchan expressed her gratitude in her praise of directors Sanjay Leela Bhansali and Mani Ratnam at a press conference in Mumbai on Tuesday because both had cast her in strong-willed characters named Nandini in their movies. “It was a tremendous blessing to have gotten to play such strong women,” she said.
While holding the press conference to promote Mani Ratnam’s ‘Ponniyin Selvan: II,’ in which she plays a captivating queen named Nandini, Aishwarya also recalled playing Nandini in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s 1999 movie ‘Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.’
