Recently, she took to Instagram to express her disdain for the popular trend of airport looks, sharing multiple posts to criticize its significance and influence.

The renowned actress proceeded to showcase her own airport looks through Instagram stories. In her initial upload, Kangana wrote, “I am the only person to blame for initiating this absurd trend of airport looks.” In her subsequent post, she expressed that she now perceives herself as a casualty of capitalism.

Following that, the actress penned, “I have been influenced by magazine editors and the fashion industry to adopt a Western appearance, solely contributing to the profits of international designers.”

Continuing her Instagram story, Kangana expressed her remorse, stating, “I feel ashamed for not repeating clothes and mindlessly making purchases without considering the environmental consequences of my choices.” She further commented, “While I play the role of a fashion enthusiast, the system praises me as a fashionista, encouraging me to promote more international brands, all the while neglecting the plight of our own artisans, weavers, and handicraftsmen who are gradually fading away.”

Additionally, Kangana asserted that fashion brands exploit celebrities by sending them clothes and bags in exchange for their unpaid promotion. Her final post in the series stated, “Farewell to airport looks… We have moved beyond that stage. Now, even if I purchase a single garment, I question how many Indians will benefit from it!”

The talented actress is set to take the lead role in the upcoming film “Emergency,” which she has directed and produced herself. In this movie, Kangana portrays the role of the former Prime Minister of India, Indira Gandhi. Additionally, she has several other projects in the works, keeping her busy in the film industry.
