Ranchi civil court, in connection with a cheque bounce case, has granted conditional bail to Bollywood actor Ameesha Patel who surrendered before the court on Saturday itself. The court has also asked her to be present on June 21.The incident dates back to 2018 when Ameesha travelled to Ranchi to take part in an event at Harmu Ground. There, she met businessman Ajay Kumar Singh, with whom she spoke about film finance. Lovely World Entertainment is owned by Singh. Singh contributed to the filmmaking endeavour. However, the movie was never released.Singh asked Ameesha to give him his money back. She used a cheque to return the ₹2.50 crore, but the cheque was returned as insufficient.Again, Ameesha made headlines in November 2021 for a comparable event when her cheque for ₹32.25 lakh to UTF Telefilms bounced.
