Age is just a number! Legendary actor Dharmendra dances at his grandson Karan’s wedding

In yet another big fat Indian Bollywood wedding, at the Taj Lands End Hotel in Bandra, Mumbai, Sunny Deol’s son Karan Deol will wed his longtime lover Drisha Acharya on Sunday. Since 2006, the two have been dating. The duo got engaged early this year. Bimal Roy, a filmmaker, is the great-grandfather of Drisha. On his wedding day, Karan was dressed in an ivory sherwani and pagdi.

At the groom’s barat, family members such as Grandpa Dharmendra, father Sunny, and uncles Bobby and Abhay Deol were also photographed with him. The Deol family joined in the fun and even danced as Karan was mounted on the horse (ghodi).

As it’s a day wedding, the family and the guest choose to wear light colour attires. Sunny, the groom’s father, was spotted wearing a green-and-white sherwani and a turban (pagdi). Dharmendra was dressed in a dark suit. Sunny and Bobby’s cousin Abhay Deol were also spotted. In contrast, Abhay looked sharp in an ivory bandhgala. The Deol family could be seen dancing their hearts to the dhol’s rhythms.

A few days back, the veteran actor Dharmendra expressed his happiness about the marriage of his grandson, Karan. He can be seen singing out his heart in the video, and captioned it, “poote de Biah di Khushi.” The family also celebrated the sangeet ceremony on June 16, as per sources.

Karan followed in the footsteps of his father and choose acting as his career. He made his debut with Sunny Deol’s ‘Pal Pal Dil Ke Paas’ in 2019.
