After a few days when Jennifer Mistry of the show Taarak Mehta… called out the producer Asit Modi over sexual harassment, another actor of the show called out his name for the abusive behaviour against him. At first, it was Shailesh Lodha who filed the complaint against him.Actress Monika of Taarak Mehta ka Ooltah Chashmah claims that Asit treats all the actors and artists on the set like a dog. Although Monika Bhadauriya quit the show in 2019, the claims came a few days after Jennifer Mistry shared her experience.Why Monika has named AsitAccording to the sources, Monika said that the makers had stopped her payment. And for that, she fought for the same for about a year. The amount that was due was around Rs 4 to 5 lakhs, claims Monika Bhadoriya who played Bawari in the popular show Taarak Mehta…. She adds claims that the makers have stopped the payments of every artist be it Raj Anadkat and Gurucharan Singh (Sodhi). Monika also claims that Asit Modi has no shortage of money.Bhadoriya describes her time on the set as “hell” in her memories. While Bhadoriyas late mother was receiving cancer treatment, the shows creators showed no sympathy for her. Asit Modi, the shows producer, never phoned Bhadoriya to express his condolences after her mother passed away.Despite Bhadoriyas allegations about Modis belligerent behaviour, she asserts that no one in the present cast will expose him. She also claimed that Asit have even forced her to sign a contract promising not to disparage them in the media.
