Shah Rukh Khan death threat: Faizan Khan, an advocate from Raipur, Chhattisgarh, has denied any involvement in the recent death threat call made to Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan. Khan claims his phone was stolen days before the call, which demanded Rs 50 lakh, was placed to the Bandra Police Station on November 5.Faizan Khans statement on the incidentKhan alleged he had reported his phone stolen on November 2, insisting that someone may be using his device to implicate him. I had nothing to do with the threatening call. My phone was stolen, and I believe someone is trying to frame me, he told police during questioning.Khan was questioned for over two hours and expressed concern that his WhatsApp account, linked to his stolen phone number, might be accessed on a different device. According to Khan, the threat call was made using the SIM card from his stolen phone and not through WhatsApp, as he was present in court at the time.Previous complaint against Shah Rukh KhanKhan revealed he had previously filed a case against Shah Rukh Khan regarding a dialogue in the 1994 film Anjaam. The complaint, filed at Bandra Police Station, alleged that the films depiction of deer hunting could foster animosity between religious communities. “I have friends in the Bishnoi community, who strictly oppose killing deer. A line like that in the film could disturb harmony,” he stated.The advocate further suggested that the timing of his phones theft, shortly after filing his complaint, could be part of a targeted setup against him.Police investigation underwayMumbai police are investigating the origins of the call. Police sources reveal the caller only identified himself as “Hindustani.” This threat follows similar incidents involving Bollywood star Salman Khan, who received threats from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang over allegations related to blackbuck poaching.
