Famous Bollywood actor Ayushmann Khurrana who has given several big hits in the Bollywood industry is also famous for his phenomenal musical talent. Ayushmann is all set to enthral the audiences on his upcoming music tour to the United States in July. He will be visiting eight American cities during his visit.
Ayushmann Khurrana will be on tour in July and August. This includes Dallas, San Jose, Seattle, Washington DC, New Jersey, Atlanta, Orlando, and Chicago. Apart from this, he will be visiting Toronto in Canada also. He has delivered several big musics hits like ‘Paani da Rang’, ‘Nazm Nazm’ and many more. He said that he is proud that he will be representing Hindi music in North America.
Ayushmann’s much-awaited film ‘Dream girl 2’ is also set to release on July 7. While talking about his upcoming tour to the US, Ayushmann said that music engages him to connect with numerous people and he constantly look forward to his live concerts because it connects him to the audience immediately. He further said that he is grateful that the world is out of the debilitating pandemic and we are doing it again.
He further added that he was missing the live concerts because as an entertainer he looks forward to spreading joy and happiness through his music and work. Ayushmann continued “Now that I can perform these concerts, travel, and witness people’s happiness, I’m in a lot better frame of mind. I’m very excited to go on my US tour. I’m very excited to see these cities. I always feel honoured to represent Hindi music to listeners around the world, and I sincerely hope that everyone will love what we have in store.”
After completing his graduation and post-graduation in Journalism, he started his career as a radio personality at Big FM. He is also among the winners of the Bharat Nirman Award in New Delhi. Born and brought up in Chandigarh, Ayushmann Khurrana then moved to try his hands at anchoring. He started hosting many big shows like India’s Got Talent, the second season on MTV Rock on, Just Dance and many more.
Ayushmann made his acting debut in 2012 with the movie ‘Vicky Donor co-starring Anu Kapoor and Yami Gautam. Then in 2003, he sang ‘Paani Da Rang’ which was a big hit. In 2013, he also appeared in the top 100 celebrity list of Forbes India.
Besides being an actor, Ayushmann is also a singer and composer. He has sung for some of his films and released a few singles too. In 2019, Ayushmann Khurrana performed with his band called ‘Ayushmann Bhava’ performed at San Diego Convention Centre in California. His band has often expressed love for the music and performing on the stage.
Khurrana entered a career as an anchor after winning the second season of the reality television programme MTV Roadies in 2004. In 2012, he made his movie debut in the love story Vicky Donor. He received many honours for his performance, including the Filmfare Award for Best Male Debut. After a brief setback, he starred in the romantic comedy Dum Laga Ke Haisha, which was both critically and commercially successful. The comedies Bareilly Ki Barfi (2017), Shubh Mangal Saavdhan (2017), Badhaai Ho (2018), and the thriller Andhadhun helped Khurrana establish himself as a successful actor (2018).
In 2018, for ‘Andhadhun’ Ayushmann won National Film Award for his outstanding performance. The first one was ‘Andhadhun’ which earned Rs 4.56 billion worldwide. The other one was ‘Badhaai Ho’, which was a surprise blockbuster and earned over Rs 2.21 billion worldwide. The series of blockbusters continued with Article 15, Dream Girl and Bala. During his tenure, he has received several awards, including Filmfare Award for Best Male Playback Singer for his song ‘Paani Da Rang’.
