Washington: The American drama series ' The Last of Us' is all set to return with a fresh season. The series is based on the video game franchise by the Naughty Dog. The series is set at a time when the pandemic hits the world and all the creatures turned into zombies due to a fatal fungal infection. The first part of the series follows the life of a smuggler who accompanies a teenager.

Meet the New Faces: Character Posters Revealed for Season 2

The season two cast includes returning stars Pascal and Ramsey, as well as newcomers Kaitlyn Dever, Isabela Merced, and Jeffrey Wright. Catherine O'Hara is also set to guest star.Craig Mazin and Neil Druckmann, who developed the 'Last of Us' video game, are writers and executive producers of the series.
