The film stars Rishab Shetty in the titular role, portraying the legendary Maratha warrior with power, devotion, and bravery. The Pride of Bharat: Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj is set for a worldwide theatrical release on January 21, 2027. Meanwhile, Rishab Shetty has a busy slate with multiple high-profile projects. He will be seen portraying Lord Hanuman in Prashanth Varma’s upcoming film Jai Hanuman, a sequel to the blockbuster HanuMan. Additionally, he is also directing and starring in Kantara: Chapter 1, a prequel to his critically acclaimed film Kantara, which is scheduled for release on October 2, 2025.
