Entertainment news: Grammy-winning artist SZA shared an emotional and heartfelt post on Instagram detailing her recent transformative experience at the Isha Foundation’s program in Tamil Nadu. Accompanied by before-and-after photos, the singer wrote, “Life is so profound and chaotic and beautiful. I have no words for my Samyama experience.”
She described the rigorous program that involved living without a phone, mirrors, or eye contact for over eight days. “For a fundamental yapper, I lost my mind, then found it,” she added. Upon returning, SZA was struck by an overwhelming influx of emotions, both personal and professional, but found peace in the chaos.
Expressing immense gratitude, SZA wrote, “Infinite thanks to @isha.foundation, @sadhguru, @chekothari, and EVERY Isha volunteer that took care of my mother and myself. My love for the process and this life is indescribable. Namaskaram.”
This wasn’t her first visit to the Isha Foundation. SZA previously attended the ashram in 2021 and has frequently spoken about its profound impact on her life. The foundation, established by Sadhguru in 1992, has become a global destination for those seeking spiritual growth and well-being.
During her recent stay, SZA was deeply moved by a music performance from students of Sadhguru Gurukulam Samskriti, a school run by the foundation. The institution integrates academics with holistic disciplines like yoga, martial arts, music, and dance.
Sharing a video of the performance, SZA praised the students’ talent, saying, “The scales, the syncopation, the runs... INSANE... they brought me to TEARS.” She also hinted at incorporating the music into her own projects, writing, “I’ve already asked to sample it and sent it to the production gang.”
The Isha Foundation continues to attract individuals from all walks of life, offering programs that blend ancient wisdom with modern practices. SZA’s heartfelt account highlights the transformative power of its initiatives, which continue to inspire millions worldwide.
