Entertainment: Controversial actor Rakhi Sawant has officially confirmed her plans to marry Pakistani actor and police officer Dodi Khan. In an interview with News18, Rakhi opened up about her relationship, calling it a "love marriage" and expressing her deep affection for Dodi.
Speaking about her upcoming wedding, Rakhi stated, "He is my love. We love each other. He is from Pakistan. I am from India, so we will have a love marriage." She also took a dig at her ex-husband, Adil Khan Durrani, accusing him of attempting to tarnish her name out of jealousy. “Adil is jealous of my marriage, so he wants bad publicity, wrong publicity from my name, and I really don’t want to give any publicity to that idiot,” she said.
Addressing the curiosity surrounding her marriage, Rakhi shared a bold message on Instagram. In Hindi, she questioned why people were so invested in her personal life. "I can marry whenever I want, whether in India, Pakistan, China, Bhutan, America, London, or Canada. Live and let live. What are you doing?" she asked.
In a bizarre twist, Rakhi also spoke about international pop star Selena Gomez, who was recently seen crying after former US President Donald Trump announced the deportation of illegal immigrants. However, Rakhi linked Selena’s tears to her own wedding, making an outlandish claim. "Why are you crying so much after coming to know about my wedding? She is crying as if I've stolen her groom. Selena, what's wrong with you? Are you ok? Dodi isn't your boyfriend, right?" she said. To further dramatize the situation, Rakhi even shared a photo of Selena crying alongside her video.
Rakhi’s past marriages have been surrounded by controversies. She was previously married to Adil Khan Durrani, but their marriage ended in 2023 amid allegations of extramarital affairs, domestic violence, financial fraud, and abuse. Adil was arrested from Rakhi’s residence in February 2023 and spent five months in jail. Before Adil, Rakhi was married to Ritesh Singh, whom she wed in 2019 but divorced in 2022.
