'Biggest regret of my career'! Mika Singh exposes Bipasha Basu’s tantrums on set

It has been nearly five times since Bipasha Basu was last seen in an acting part. She last starred in director Bhushan Patel's web series, Dangerous, which also featured her hubby, actor Karan Singh Grover. The design was backed by popular music producer Mika.

Why do you suppose they're out of work now?

"Why do you suppose they're out of work now?There is Lord who is keeping an eye on everything" said Mika, in an interview, where he also shared his bitter working experience with the couple.See, I liked Karan a lot, and I wanted to back a film that would push my music in the van. I just wanted to make a low- budget film, nearly around Rs 4 crore," said Mika, who participated that he approached Vikram Bhatt to write the story because he could not go him as the director."

I would always regret 

We roped in director Bhushan Patel, who had preliminarily piloted Alone, which featured Bipasha in a double part." Mika participated that he was only meaning to make the series with Karan, and another heroine, but Bipasha wanted to be part of the film." The shoot was about to shot in London, and the budget increased from four to Rs fourteen crore and the drama created by Bipasha assured that I would always regret  producing this" said the music producer, who went on to explain what unfolded during the firing of Dangerous. She was comfortable with team  and they were playing a couple, who had to feature in kissing scenes. Suddenly, she was throwing tantrums saying she will not do this or she will not do that, etc." said Mika.

Atleast respect the directors

The musician also participated that he noway defaulted on their payments, but it was not easy to complete the dubbing process too." Someone always had a sore throat.However, it was Karan on other side if was Bipasha was sick at some time." When some out of work heroines are allowing their luck is bad, it's important to note that they should admire directors who come with openings.

You have to love your work

They're your god. They might be happy playing micro scale places in a Dharma production film, but will not admire small time directors, who are paying the same amount of money" Citing himself as an illustration of not allowing success to get to his head, Mika said," I've zero arrogance. Indeed lately, I went to Bengaluru to sing for Devi Sri Prasad in Pushpa.However, I'll do it too, If Pritam calls me at 6 am to sing a song. That is why I'm where I am. This success does not come overnight, and you have to love your work."
