National Award- winning actor and BJP MP Kangana Ranaut has replied explosively to Karnataka Deputy Chief Minister DK Shivakumar’s reflections about the Kannada film fraternity. presently in Karnataka, Kangana has been visiting tabernacles and attending religious events. After offering prayers at Sri Hosa Marigudi Temple in Kaup, she progressed to Shri Durga Parameshwari Temple in Kateel.
Shivakumar expressed irritation and frustation over the Kannada film fraternity. Due it's absence at the 16th Bengaluru International Film Festival. More specifically, he raised his disappointment over the absence of Kannada actors, filmmakers, and technicians at the initial event. He criticised the film fraternity and advised that he knew how to" strain the nuts and bolts" of the assiduity. His statement has touched off a debate, with opinions divided between those supporting his station and those calling his reflections gratuitous.
Kangana, too, had a pointed response. She said, " According to the sacred Holy Writ, indeed Indra, Arjuna, and numerous others have learnt the trades. God always protects artists. Maa Saraswati is the goddess of art, and if someone thinks they can strain the nuts and bolts of artists, they must flash back that Lord Vishnu incarnates to cover them or someone will."
