While speaking during an electoral campaign at Aligarh on Friday, the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh Yogi Adityanath declared that 'Ram Naam Satya' (last rites) is definite for anyone who threatens society's security.

The statement from the chief minister came while campaigning in support of BJP Lok Sabha candidate Satish Kumar Gautam in Aligarh on Friday.

"Nobody ever imagined that businessmen and daughters could go out late at night without fear. We guarantee 'Ram Naam Satya', the performance of the last rites, in response to the threat to the security of businesses and daughters. We recite the name of Lord Ram all day long. There is nothing possible without Ram. But 'Ram Naam Satya' is also certain when someone endangers the safety of society, Adityanath stated.

He also underlined the importance of voting to ensure that development continues.

"What was a dream 10 years ago is now becoming a reality, and it's happening because of the value of your vote. A wrong vote would have led the country into the depths of corruption. There was anarchy, curfews, and lawlessness earlier. Our daughters, our youth were under threat," Yogi Adityanath said.

Adityanath also commended the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, attributing to him the continuous improvement of the country's infrastructure.

People have already chosen to support a third term for the Modi administration, Adityanath said, expressing confidence in the results of the next elections.

Within the first three years after assuming a third term, PM Narendra Modi predicted that India's economy would rise to the third rank in the world.

Notably, the voting for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections 2024 will happen in seven phases: April 19, April 26, May 7, May 13, May 20, May 23 and June 1 and the counting of votes for all 543 Lok Sabha seats across the country has been scheduled for June 4.
