A tumultuous scene unfolded at the nomination event of Misa Bharti, who is a candidate of the Grand Alliance, vying for the Patliputra Lok Sabha seat in Bihar. After Bharti's nomination, chaos ensued as an altercation erupted between Tej Pratap Yadav and supporters of the Rashtriya Janata Dal (RJD). The incident occurred amidst a gathering at the Shri Krishna Memorial Hall in Patna.
Video footage captured the moment when Tej Pratap Yadav, amidst the throng, shoved an RJD party worker on stage. Bharti, flanked by her brother, intervened immediately to quell the disturbance, with their mother, Rabri Devi, who was also present at the event.
The event was graced by the presence of Lalu Yadav, the patriarch of the Yadav family, along with Rabri Devi. Tejashwi Yadav, Misa Bharti's younger brother, addressed the gathering to rally support for the upcoming elections before departing for his scheduled campaign engagements.

These INDI Alliance should learn from Modiji, how to give respect to our own party workers.#LokSabhaElections2024 pic.twitter.com/uVExToXiH7
In his address, Lalu Yadav stated that urged people to vote for Misa Bharti. He also said that party workers should remain united, emphasizing party's morale increases because of party workers.
Despite calls for party unity from Lalu Prasad Yadav, Tej Pratap Yadav, his elder son, engaged in a physical altercation with an RJD worker, presenting a contradictory picture. The incident left Bharti visibly unsettled, prompting intervention from other party leaders to diffuse the tension. This might prove harmful for the RJD and INDI alliance as it portrays the internal discord within the party.
