In a surprising turn of events, independent candidate Rajesh Ranjan, widely known as Pappu Yadav, emerged victorious in the Lok Sabha elections from the Purnia constituency. He won the highly anticipated battle leaving both the INDIA alliance and NDA candidates behind.
After the news of his victory broke, Pappu Yadav was visibly emotional as he embraced his jubilant supporters at the counting center. Expressing gratitude, he gave the credit of his success to the overwhelming support from every section of society in Purnia, from rickshaw pullers to handcart pullers.
