Stage collapse during PM Modi's roadshow causes injuries in Jabalpur, Madhya Pradesh

On Sunday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi initiated the BJP's Lok Sabha election campaign in Madhya Pradesh by conducting a roadshow in Jabalpur.

During Prime Minister Narendra Modi's roadshow in Jabalpur on April 7, a stage collapse resulted in injuries to several individuals. Dilip Srivastava, a police officer in Jabalpur, reported, "After PM Modi's rally passed, a stage built near a showroom collapsed due to overcrowding. In this case, one police officer and three other people were injured. All of them were promptly taken to Victoria Hospital, Jabalpur, for necessary medical treatment."

The incident occurred as PM Modi initiated the BJP's Lok Sabha election campaign in Madhya Pradesh with a roadshow in Jabalpur. Accompanying him were MP Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, state PWD minister Rakesh Singh, and the party's Jabalpur Lok Sabha candidate Ashish Dubey.

The roadshow commenced at around 6:30 pm from Shaheed Bhagat Singh crossing and concluded at Adi Shankaracharya crossing in the Gorakhpur locality by 7:15 pm. During the roadshow, PM Modi and others showcased the BJP's poll symbol, 'lotus', as their saffron-colored vehicle moved through the well-attended event.

A significant number of people gathered along the route, capturing moments through photographs and videos using their mobile phones. Many displayed placards with slogans like 'Mera Ghar Modi Ka Ghar' and 'Mera Pariwar Modi Ka Pariwar,' part of a BJP campaign emphasizing that the nation's people constitute Modi's family.
