Soon after Arvind Kejriwal came out of jail on interim bail on May 10 in the Delhi Excise Policy case, Union Home Minister Amit Shah took a dig at the Delhi chief minister and Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) chief saying that he could campaign for the Lok Sabha elections, but people will remember the liquor scam. While talking to a media, Amit Shah reiterated that Kejriwal is on interim bail and he will have to surrender after June 1.

After spending 50 days in Tihar Jail, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal was released on Friday, following the Supreme Court's judgment giving him temporary bail in the excise duty scam. ED detained Kejriwal about the purported liquor policy case on March 21.

When the Chief Minister was released from Tihar jail, a sizable group of supporters gathered outside.

When Kejriwal was released, he was accompanied by his wife Sunita Kejriwal, Punjab Chief Minister and AAP leader Bhagwant Mann, party leaders Atishi and Saurabh Bhardwaj, and AAP general secretary Sandeep Pathak. Following his release from Tihar Jail, the Chief Minister made his way to his official residence.

Delhi CM has been granted interim bail till June 1 with conditions that he will not visit the Office of the Chief Minister and Delhi Secretariat. He will start the campaigning for the Lok Sabha Elections on Saturday.
