Rajan Yadav, famously known as Arthi Baba, is set to embark on an unconventional journey to file his nomination papers for the Gorakhpur seat as an independent candidate. Defying norms, he plans to arrive at the venue on a bier, symbolizing his commitment to his cause. Arthi Baba's nomination procession, scheduled for Tuesday, promises to be a spectacle, reflecting his distinctive campaign style. Situated at the cremation ghat along the Rapti River, his campaign office mirrors his unorthodox approach to politics.

During his campaign, Arthi Baba engages with constituents while seated on a funeral pyre, offering promises that resonate with their concerns. Among these pledges is the reinstatement of lifetime incoming calls on mobile phones, a vow aimed at addressing everyday challenges.

Arthi Baba holds MBA degree!

Interestingly, Arthi Baba has contested many elections and has been agitating on various issues for the last 20 years. He pursued MBA in International Marketing. However, instead of doing a job, he took the help of various political platforms for the purpose of raising his voice for social change. He had contested for Varanasi, and Gorakhpur but he never won.  

Arthi Baba's innovative funding method 

Resourceful in his endeavors, Arthi Baba finances his election campaign through small contributions from visitors to the cremation site, considering them as supportive "souls" in his quest for change. He expressed concern over the state of democracy, Arthi Baba believes that the country is on the verge of a symbolic funeral procession, awaiting transformation.

Vision for the future

Looking beyond the present elections, Arthi Baba sets his sights on the upcoming Delhi Legislative Assembly polls, with a comprehensive strategy to contest all 70 seats. He emphasizes the importance of political leaders embracing the teachings of Buddha to usher in a meaningful societal transformation.
