Lok Sabha Elections 2024: Tripura records highest 15.21% voter turnout till 9 am; check out percentage for other states

The polling for the first phase of the 2024 Lok Sabha election commenced on April 19 at 7 am. As many as 21 states and 102 constituencies will cast their votes on Friday. The elections are set to take place in seven phases across the country that will conclude on June 1 and the counting of the votes and results will be declared on June 4.

Meanwhile, the Election Commission of India has shared the voter turnout till 9 am in the first phase of polling where Lakshadweep records the lowest at 5.59% and Tripura records the highest 15.21% vote percentage.
