Lok Sabha Elections 2024: 50.71 pc voter turnout till 3 pm in phase 3; West Bengal records highest

Update: The voter turnout in ongoing phase 3 of Lok Sabha elections was recorded at 50.71% across 93 constituencies that voted on Tuesday till 3 pm, according to the data of Election Commission of India.

As per numbers till 3 pm, West Bengal witnessed a high voter turnout of 63.11% and the lowest was recorded in Maharashtra, where it was recorded at 42.63%.

Assam saw 63.08%, Bihar--46.69%, Chhattisgarh--58.19%, Goa -- 61.39%, Gujarat--47.03%, Karnataka--54.20%, Madhya Pradesh--54.09% and Uttar Pradesh--46.78%. Union Territory Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu recorded 52.43% voter turnout till 3 pm.


Lok Sabha Elections 2024: 39.92% voter turnout till 1pm, West Bengal highest at 49.27%, Maharashtra at least with 31.55%

Update: The voter turnout in phase 3 of Lok Sabha Elections stands at 39.92% till 1pm.

Update: In the ongoing voting in third phase of Lok Sabha Elections, West Bengal till 11 am has witnessed highest vote turnout at 32.82%, where as Maharashtra with least at Maharashtra 18.18%.

Lok Sabha Elections 2024 Phase 3: PM Modi, Amit Shah among others cast vote

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday casted his vote in the third phase of onling Lok Sabha Elections 2024. PM Modi highlighted the importance of 'Daan' in our country and said that India's election process and election management are examples for the world's democracies to learn from.

While speaking to media persons in Ahmedabad, the Prime Minister urged the voters to cast their votes in large numbers.

Union Minister Amit Shah also got his finger inked and asked the voters to elect a government that has experience in public welfare and a blue print of developed nation.

Assam (4), Bihar (5), Chhattisgarh (7), Dadra and Nagar Haveli and Daman and Diu (2), Goa (2), Gujarat (25), Karnataka (14), Maharashtra (11), Madhya Pradesh (8), Uttar Pradesh (10) and West Bengal (4) are the states and union territories hosting the elections in this phase.
Over 1300 individuals, about 120 of whom are women, are competing in this phase.
