Voting took place on 49 seats in 8 states and union territories in the 5th phase of Lok Sabha elections. During this period, an average of 60.48 percent voting took place. Voting for all seats began at 7 am and continued till 6 pm. The Election Commission said that in the second phase of voting for the Odisha Legislative Assembly, 60.54 percent votes were cast till 5 pm on the remaining 35 seats. The highest turnout in this phase has taken place in West Bengal, where the maximum number of 73.00 percent voters casted their votes till 5 pm. Maharashtra had the lowest vote share of 48.66 percent.
In the 5th phase of Lok Sabha elections in Bihar, voting ended at 6 pm in Sitamarhi, Madhubani, Muzaffarpur, Saran and Hajipur parliamentary constituencies. During this period, about 56 percent voters exercised their franchise. Bihar Chief Electoral Officer HR Srinivasan said on Monday that till 6 pm, 55.85 percent voters have voted in these five Lok Sabha constituencies, which is 1.22 percent less than the last Lok Sabha election of 2019. In the last Lok Sabha elections, 57.07 percent voting took place in these parliamentary constituencies. At some booths, a large number of voters were standing in queue before the end of polling, they are allowed to vote. Therefore, the final voting figures may change.
In the 5th phase of general elections, 73 percent voting took place till 5 pm on Monday in 7 Lok Sabha seats of West Bengal. An Election Commission official gave this information. He said that the highest turnout was 76.90 percent in Arambag parliamentary constituency, followed by 75.73 percent in Bongaon, 74.50 percent in Uluberia, 74.14 percent in Hooghly, 71.18 percent in Shrirampur, 68.84-68.84 percent in Howrah and Barrackpore Lok Sabha constituencies.

The total voting percentage in the seat was 45.22 percent. Earlier in 1984, there was 58.84 percent voting. In the 2019 Lok Sabha elections, 34.89 percent votes were cast in Baramulla. The Office of the Chief Electoral Officer of Jammu and Kashmir said in a statement, 'Till 3 pm in Baramulla parliamentary constituency, 45.22 percent voting took place across all polling stations.'
