Iqra Hasan’s triumph on the Kairana Lok Sabha seat has stunned many. This seat, historically dominated by the BJP, saw Iqra Hasan, representing the Samajwadi Party (SP), turn the tables. The BJP has held this seat three times, while Congress and SP have each won twice, and Janata Dal twice. This time, Iqra’s candidacy introduced new dynamics to the election.

Pradeep’s political journey includes winning the Gangoh assembly seat in 2012 as a Congress candidate and then as a BJP candidate in 2017. In 2019, he defeated Tabassum Hasan by 92,000 votes in Kairana. This year, the contest between Pradeep Chaudhary and the Hasan family continued, with Iqra Hasan emerging victorious.
