Shyam Rangeela's bid for the Varanasi Lok Sabha seat has hit a roadblock as his nomination has been canceled after an investigation. Expressing his disappointment, Rangeela mentioned that his intention was to shed light on the challenges faced by democracy. He admitted feeling overwhelmed, stating, "I am a comedian, but today I am speechless. Politics seems out of my league."

Rangeela mused that perhaps he lacked the divine support of the Ganges, suggesting a hint of spiritual contemplation amidst the setback.

Here's what he says:

Allegations of administrative hurdles

Rangeela accused the Varanasi district administration of complicating the nomination process, implying potential bureaucratic obstacles. With his nomination rejected, Rangeela's aspirations to challenge PM Narendra Modi in the election fray from Varanasi come to an end, redirecting his focus back to his comedic career.

Forty individuals, including the Prime Minister, submitted nomination forms for the Varanasi constituency. Shyam Rangeela previously voiced his grievances, alleging a strenuous three-day process to file his nomination. Rangeela expressed his dismay, stating, "My nomination rejection reflects the intricacies of politics. Should I find amusement or despair in this situation?"

He further elaborated, "I was informed that I hadn't taken the oath, but in reality, it wasn't administered to me. Officials insisted it was my responsibility, not theirs. Additionally, despite waiting since the 10th, I was told I submitted the form at 2:58 PM on May 14th, after enduring a day-long queue on the 13th."
