Amid ongoing polling for phase 4 of Lok Sabha Elections 2024, some shameful visuals of showing off the VIP culture have surfaced from Andhra Pradesh, where Tenali’s YSR Congress party MLA A Sivakumar slapped the voter after he objected to the legislator jumping the queue at a polling booth in Guntur district on Monday.

The YSR leader can be seen approaching the voter and slapping him on his face. The voter slapped in a blow, following which the aides of MLA joined in launching the act of assault. Meanwhile, other voters waiting for their can be seen trying to stop the MLA’s aide. In the whole episode of 10 seconds, no security personnel can be seen intervening to rescue the voter.

Although, the official statement of what exactly happened is awaited, Shivakumar has been facing strong criticism on social media platforms.

Notably, 25 seats with 175 candidates are in the fray in the ongoing fourth phase of the Lok Sabha Elections 2024.
