Actress-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut, BJP's candidate from Mandi constituency in Himachal Pradesh is leading against Congress party's Vikramaditya Singh by more than 72,000 votes. Kangana is set to embark on her political odyssey if she successfully wins, attaining a remarkable debut. The actor took to X and expressed her jubilance. She has thanked the people of Mandi and credited Narendra Modi for her exemplary performance in poll results.

Kangana expresses gratitude

In a post on X, Kangana wrote, "Heartfelt gratitude to all Mandi residents for this support, this love and trust This victory is of all of you, this is the victory of faith in Prime Minister Modi and BJP, this is the victory of Sanatan, this is the victory of the honour of Mandi.”

She sought her mother's blessings

Earlier in the day, Kangana had visited her mother to seek her blessings. She shared pictures of the meeting. The election campaign for the Mandi Lok Sabha seat experienced a tough tussle between these two contenders. Both candidates had drawn substantial crowds, making elaborate promises and reflecting tough competition.

Kangana has been vocal about her affiliation with right-wing politics, expressing her staunch support for BJP's ideology.
