Lok Sabha Election 2024: After concluding the election campaign, Prime Minister Narendra Modi traveled to Kanyakumari, Tamil Nadu. Upon his arrival, he offered prayers at the Bhagavathy Amman Temple. Following this, he visited the iconic Vivekananda Rock Memorial, where he spent time meditating and after the conclusion of meditation, he expressed his experience during meditation.

All the seven phases of the Lok Sabha elections have been concluded and results for the same will be announced on June 4.

PM Modi previously addressed various matters about the Lok Sabha elections in a letter to the citizens of the country. "My mind is filled with a lot of experiences and emotions, I feel an unlimited flow of energy within me."

1. PM wrote that the biggest celebration of democracy in our country, the mother of democracy, the 2024 Lok Sabha elections is being concluded today. After a three-day spiritual journey in Kanyakumari, I have just boarded the plane to Delhi.

2. During this, the PM said "My mind is filled with many experiences and emotions, I feel an unlimited flow of energy within me. The 2024 Lok Sabha elections are the first elections of Amrit Kaal. I started my campaign a few months ago from Meerut, the land of the first freedom struggle of 1857. The last rally of these elections took me to Hoshiarpur in Punjab, the land of great gurus and the land associated with Sant Ravidas ji. After that, I came to Kanyakumari, at the feet of Mother India.

3. The PM further writes “Naturally, the euphoria of the election was resonating in my heart and mind, the crowd of faces seen in rallies and road shows came before my eyes. The blessings, trust, affection of our Nari Shakti, all this was a very humbling feeling.”

4. Referring to meditation, the PM said "My eyes were getting moist... I entered 'sadhana' (state of meditation). And then, the political debates, the attacks and counter-attacks, the voices and words of accusations, they all vanished into nothingness. A sense of detachment began to develop within me, my mind became completely detached from the outside world.

5. The PM further expressed that "It becomes challenging to meditate amidst such huge responsibilities, but the land of Kanyakumari and the inspiration of Swami Vivekananda made it easy. As a candidate, I have come here leaving my campaign in the hands of my beloved people of Kashi."

6. I also thank God for giving me these moral principles from birth, which I have loved and attempted to uphold. I was also contemplating what it may have been like for Swami Vivekananda to be meditating here in Kanyakumari! I spent a portion of my meditation in a similar mental stream, he mentioned further.

7. Amidst this detachment, amidst peace and silence, my mind was constantly thinking about the good future of India and the goals of India. The rising sun in Kanyakumari gave new heights to my thoughts, the vastness of the sea has given a new height to my thoughts. It seemed as if the observations and experiences made in the lap of the Himalayas decades ago were being revived.

8. PM said, "Kanyakumari has always been very close to my heart. Vivekananda Rock Memorial in Kanyakumari was built under the leadership of Shri Eknath Ranade ji. I got the opportunity to make this journey with Eknath Ji. During the construction of this memorial, I also got a chance to spend some time in Kanyakumari."

9. Kanyakumari is the land of confluence. The holy rivers of our country flow into different seas and here those seas meet. Here, we are witnessing another great confluence - the ideological confluence of India! Here, we find Vivekananda Rock Memorial, a grand statue of Saint Tiruvalluvar, Gandhi Mandapam and Kamarajar Mani Mandapam.

10. “The development trajectory of Bharat fills us with pride and glory, but at the same time, it also reminds the 140 crore citizens of their responsibilities. Now, without wasting a single moment, we must step forward towards greater duties and larger goals. We need to dream new dreams, convert them into reality and begin living those dreams,” he wrote in his blog.

PM Modi concluded his experience, mentioning, “Today, we have the same golden opportunity. Let's dedicate the next 25 years solely to the nation. Our efforts will create a strong foundation for the coming generations and the coming centuries, taking Bharat to new heights. Looking at the energy and enthusiasm of the country, I can say that the goal is not far away now. Let us take swift steps... let us come together and create a Viksit Bharat.”
