Misa Bharti hits out at PM Modi: Misa Bharti, the daughter of RJD chief Lalu Prasad Yadav and a candidate for the Patliputra Lok Sabha seat, stirred controversy with her recent statement. Addressing journalists in Maner, Bharti asserted that if the India Coalition government comes to power, PM Modi and other BJP leaders will face imprisonment.

Critique of PM Modi

Hitting out at PM Modi, Bharti highlighted the issue of doubling farmers' income and MSP implementation. Questioning PM Modi's silence on nepotism, she accused PM Modi of overlooking nepotism within his own party while unfairly targeting her family. Bharti challenged PM Modi's narrative, urging him to address the issue of nepotism.

NDA's Response

In response to Bharti's remarks, BJP leader and Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha, along with NDA candidate Ramkripal Yadav, launched a counterattack. Sinha dismissed Bharti's statement as baseless, implying that fear motivated her words. Ramkripal Yadav challenged Bharti's family, emphasizing the need for them to address their own legal issues before making accusations against others.

Defending Integrity

Ramkripal Yadav defended his integrity, highlighting his clean record over his four-decade-long political career. He challenged Bharti's family to substantiate their claims with evidence. Yadav emphasized his modest lifestyle and urged for scrutiny of his property holdings, asserting his innocence.

Misa Bharti's assertion has sparked a political debate, highlighting the contentious atmosphere surrounding the upcoming elections. The exchange underscores the intense rivalry between political factions, setting the stage for a heated electoral battle in the Patliputra constituency.
