The month of April managed to end on a bullish note on Friday, April 28, 2023. The Nifty closed 149.95 points or 0.84% higher, at 18,065 points today. The Sensex gained 463.06 points or 0.76% to 61,112.44. 

Top gainers in the market

  1. Adani Enterprises Ltd. (NSE:ADANIENT) – When it comes to the top gainers of the market for the month of April, Adani Enterprises ruled the charts. The company shares closed 3.72% strong at Rs 1,922 apiece on Friday. In the last five trading days, the shares have gained 6.68% on the NSE. Adani moved up by a considerable 10.43% in the last one month of trading on the NSE. However, if we talk about its performance in the last six months, the stats are not that great as the shares lost 42.58% during the tenure. In the last one year, the company has shed more than 17% on the NSE. 
  2. Wipro Ltd. (NSE:WIPRO) – The shares of this multinational corporation ended 2.75% higher at Rs 384.70 per share on Friday on the NSE. In the last five trading days on the NSE, the shares gained 3.41% and in the last one month, the shares moved up 7.14%. However, in the past one month, the shares have fallen marginally by 0.48%. In the last one year of trade on the NSE, the shares declined 24.39%. 
  3. Nestle India Limited (NSE:NESTLEIND) – The shares of Nestle India closed 2.85% higher at Rs 21,750 apiece on 28 April 2023. The FMCG company gained 6.27% in the last five days of trading on the NSE. In the last one month of trading, the shares accelerated by 14.16% on the NSE. In the last six months, the shares gained 6.81% while in the last one year of trading, the shares gained 18.66% on the NSE. 
  4. Larsen & Toubro Ltd (NSE:LT) – The shares of this tech firm ended 2.36% higher today. The company moved up 6.93% in the last five trading days on the NSE. In the past one month, the shares jumped 9.90% while in the last six months, the shares gained 16.65% on the NSE. In the last one year of trading on the NSE, the shares of this company gained almost 40%.
  5. ITC Ltd. (NSE:ITC) – This Indian business conglomerate ended today’s performance in the green zone. The stock ended 2.45% higher at Rs 426.20 per share on the NSE. In the last five days of trading on the NSE, the shares gained 5.03% and in the last one month, the shares moved up 11.35% on the NSE. In the last six months of trading on the NSE, the shares gained 22.23% and in the last one year, the company has gained a whopping 64.21% on the NSE.
