Reliance’s Big Move: JioMart Targets Blinkit, Zepto with 30-Minute Quick Commerce!

The country's largest retail company Reliance Retail has performed brilliantly in the quick commerce sector. In the March quarter, the company has registered a tremendous increase of 2.4 times in its order number. The company's Chief Financial Officer Dinesh Taluja gave this information. He said that the company is now planning to open dark stores to further strengthen its quick commerce network. So that delivery can be done in less than 30 minutes in more and more areas of the country.

Delivery in 30 minutes
Let us tell you, at present Reliance Retail is providing hyper local delivery service in more than 4 thousand pin codes of the country through its existing network of stores. This is much more than any other quick commerce company. At the same time, three types of services are being provided through the company's Jio Mart app. First is delivery in 30 minutes, second is scheduled, third is subscription service in which daily essential items are delivered to the customers' home every morning. These three services are being liked a lot by the people.

Net Profit of the Company
As per its strategy, Reliance Retail Company is providing delivery within a radius of three kilometers of the store. However, where stores are not available or delivery is taking time, the company is also planning to open dark stores. These stores will be only for fulfilling online orders. Apart from this, the company's online fashion website Ajio has started same day or next day delivery in 26 cities, which will provide faster delivery to the customers.

These stores will be opened in metro cities as well as cities with a continuous doubling. In the financial year 2024-25, Reliance Retail Company achieved a gross revenue of Rs 3.30 lakh crore, which is 7.85 percent more than last year. The net profit of the company has increased by 11.33 percent to Rs 12,388 crore.
