Sandhya Devanathan, the Chief Executive Officer of Meta India, thanked Chopra for his leadership and services to the organisation over the years and wished him the best in his future endeavours. Chopra’s departure is the fourth high-level exit from Meta India in a brief period of time, after the resignations of Ajit Mohan (India head), Rajiv Aggarwal (Public policy chief), and Abhijit Bose (WhatsApp India head). Chopra, who first filled Mohan’s position on a temporary basis, later handed over leadership to Devanathan as the permanent Chief on January 1.
