While virtually participating in the inauguration of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday, Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar said that landlocked Haryana will be connected to important ports by after the launch of the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway.A total of 129 kilometres of the expressway pass through Haryana which includes much of Nuh. On Sunday Morning, Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Sohna-Dausa stretch on the expressway in Rajasthan. Earlier, in the day Haryanas CM Manohar Lal Khattar along with the Union Ministers Nitin Gadkari and Rao Indrajit Singh inspected the traffic management near Sohna. While Khattar, Rao Indrajit and deputy CM Dushyant Chutala participated in the event virtually, Nitin Gadkari left for Dausa to join PM Modi at the Hilalpur Toll Plaza.During the event CM Khattar said that “In the coming years, Gurugram, Nuh, Faridabad, Sonipat and other NCR districts will be benefitted by this and e-commerce, warehousing and other industries will also grow.”Deputy CM Dushyant Chutala added, “With the first phase of the expressway ready, Nuh will be benefitted as many industries will come forward to invest here in Nuh.” Moreover Haryanas exports will significantly grow as the expressway will connect the state to the major port cities. A number of data centres could also come and invest in Haryana, creating employment opportunities.He also added that the expressway would connect Gurgaon with three national parks and reduce the Delhi-Jaipur journey by 2 hours. Beside this, the Delhi-Mumbai Expressway will also connect the Delhi airport with the upcoming one in Noida via Haryana and open the doors for urbanisation for the villages falling in the stretch.According to the officials, the Sohna-Dausa stretch of the expressway will cut down the distance up to 129 km, passing through Gurgaon, Palwal and Nuh.
