To honour truck drivers’ contribution towards the economy of the country, the All-India Transporters’ Welfare Association (AITWA) in partnership with Lawyered, started The Highway Heroes+ programme recently. The innovative programme is boasting of altering the challenging lives of truck drivers who are the unsung heroes of the Indian economy.

To celebrate the successful launch of the Highway Heroes+ campaign, Lawyerd and AITWA came together and showcased their ideas about the programme and showed gratitude towards the accomplishments. The executives shared that this campaign is all set to bring a revolution in the lives of truckers in India.

While Himanshu Gupta, CEO and Founder of Lawyered, shared his happiness around this partnership, Gautam Saraf, Chief Strategy Partner, Lawyered, emphasised that the initiative will change people’s perceptions of truck drivers and bring forth their value in the overall economic ecosystem. Also, JP Singla, CEO, AITWA, stated that there is a need to recognise the important contribution made by truckers to Indian society.

Meanwhile, the programme strives to give Indian truckers access to necessary benefits and services that are sometimes absent in their mobile network.
