Gold and Silver prices on October 16: Check latest rates of your city here

On Monday (October 16), gold is costlier by Re 1 for each gram as compared to the corresponding rates on the previous day, according to the Goodreturns website.

Therefore, one gram of 22-carat (K) of the yellow metal comes for Rs 5541, and eight gram, for Rs 44,328. On the other hand, 10 gram and 100 gram are available for Rs 55,410 and Rs 5,54,100 respectively.

The price of ten grams of 22-carat gold in Mumbai is at par with that in Kolkata and Hyderabad, all priced at Rs 55,410.

Meanwhile, in Delhi, Bengaluru, and Chennai, the price of ten grams of 22-carat gold varies, being Rs 55,560, Rs 55,410, and Rs 55,560, respectively.

For 24K gold, buyers must pay Rs 6045 for one gram, Rs 48,360 for eight gram, Rs 60,450 for 10 gram, and Rs 6,04,500 for 100 gram.

In Mumbai, the price of ten grams of 24-carat gold is in line with prices in Kolkata and Hyderabad, all at Rs 60,450.

However, in Delhi, Bengaluru, and Chennai, the price of ten grams of 24-carat gold differs, standing at Rs 60,600, Rs 60,450, and Rs 60,110, respectively.

The daily rate of silver, meanwhile, is the same as of Sunday, Goodreturns data shows. The metal, therefore, is priced at Rs 74.10 (one gram), Rs 592.80 (eight gram), Rs 741 (10 gram), Rs 7410 (100 gram) and Rs 74,100 (1 kilogram).
