EaseMyTrip to set up 5-Star hotel near Ayodhya Ram temple

Travel portal EaseMyTrip is now entering the hospitality sector with a five star it proposes to make in Ayodhya-which is now one of India's biggest visitor magnets after getting a Shri Ram temple and an airport.

Meanwhille, EaseMyTrip reported a 9.6 increase in net profit at ₹45.6 crore in the December quarter of FY24 up from ₹41.69 crore during the same period a year ago on the back of robust growth in travel demand. The sector is expected to generate a revenue of 59 billion by 2028, creating 140 million temporary and permanent jobs by 2030.
