The automobile retail sales in India have spiked over 20 per cent in September as demand increrased across vehicle segments with the onset of festival season, the overall automobile registrations went up to 18,82,071 units last month compared to the 15,63,735 units sold in September 2022, as quote by Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA).In the year-on-year (YoY) analysis the FADA President Manish Raj Singhania said, “two-wheeler sales grew 22%, three-wheeler retails grew 49, passenger vehicle sales grew up by 19 %, while commercial vehicles saw a sales growth of 5%”. Manish Raj Singhania even said that With the introduction of new models and attractive promotional offers, demand increased, especially in rural areas, fostering improved market sentiments.On sales outlook, FADA President stated: “As we move past the Shraadh period on October 14, the market is poised for the onset of Navratri, heralding a 42-day festive window. With these promising indicators, Federation of Automobile Dealers Associations (FADA) adopts an optimistic stance, anticipating a thriving festive season for the auto retail sector.”
