Adani, Ambani announce lakh crores of investment at Vibrant Gujarat Summit 2024

Adani Group will invest over Rs 2 lakh crore in Gujarat which will create over 100,000 jobs, directly or indirectly.

With thousand crores of investment on the Day 1 of the Vibrant Gujarat Summit 2024, Mukesh Ambani, Chairman and Managing Director of Reliance Industries, extended a warm welcome to attendees at the inauguration of the Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2024.

Ambani acknowledged the summit's 20-year history and its standing as the most prominent investor gathering globally, attributing its triumph to the visionary leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Ambani highlighted the Vibrant Gujarat Summit's remarkable journey in his speech, saying, "No other summit of this kind has continued for 20 long years, going from strength to strength."

During the addressal, the Chairman and Managing Director of Reliance Industries said he was sure that India was on the path to become a 35 Trillion Dollar economy by 2047. Ambani also asserted that Reliance was, is and will always remain a Gujarati company. He also underlined that their company has invested over 150 billion dollars, which is Rs 12 Lakh Crores in creating world-class assets and capacities across India in last 10 years, of this more than 1/3rd has been invested in Gujarat alone.

Adani Group to invest over Rs 2 Lakh Crores in Gujarat

After making comeback for almost two years with the bonds, Gautam Adani, the Chairman of the Adani Group expressed his pride in being part of the summit's decade-long journey during the addressal at the 10th Vibrant Gujarat Summit.

Adani commended PM Narendra Modi for his extraordinary vision and flawless execution of the governance. 

He highlighted that Adani Group will invest over Rs 2 lakh crore in Gujarat which will create over 100,000 jobs, directly or indirectly. 

"Over the next five years, the Adani Group will invest over Rs 2 lakh crore in Gujarat - that is USD 25 billion--thereby creating over 100,000 direct and indirect jobs", Adani stated.

Expressing gratitude for the support received, Adani concluded by committing to contribute to a Vikshit Gujarat--a vision aligned with Prime Minister Modi's transformative goals for the state and the nation.
