Nitish Kumar & Rajiv Ranjan in Delhi to attend JDU national executive meet

Amid intense speculations about a change in the leadership, the chief minister of Bihar, Nitish Kumar & JD(U) national executive Lalan Singh reached Delhi on Thursday to attend the national executive meet. According to the information, it will be significant event for the Janata Dal (United) party.

According to the sources, it is speculated that the meeting is surrounded by high anticipation and speculation, particularly regarding potential changes within the party leadership. Rumours suggest that Lalan Singh may step down as president, paving the way for Nitish Kumar to return to the role.

However, there is no official statement for the same. 

Despite the rumours, Nitish Kumar and other party leaders have downplayed them, emphasising that the meeting is a regular annual event. They aim to project an image of unity within the party.

However, responding to the media reporters, Ashok Choudharry, one of the party leaders said, "If Nitish (Kumar) wants to become (party) president, do you think there's anyone who is going to oppose it? Nitish (Kumar) is a brand!", who arrived for the party meeting amid reports of political turmoil.
