The latest sales data for March 2024 has once again solidified Hyundai's position as one of the leading automobile manufacturers in the country.

Hyundai's dominance in Indian market

With a reputation for delivering quality vehicles, Hyundai consistently ranks as the second-largest car seller in India, following closely behind Maruti Suzuki. The recently released sales figures for March 2024 shed light on Hyundai's impressive performance in the Indian automotive market.

Hyundai Creta leads the pack

Emerging as the undisputed champion in March 2024 sales, the Hyundai Creta has reaffirmed its status as the people's favorite. With a staggering 16,458 units sold, the Hyundai Creta witnessed a remarkable 17 per cent increase in sales compared to the same period last year when it sold 14,026 units.

Detailed sales breakdown

While the Hyundai Creta claimed the top spot, other models from the Hyundai stable also showcased commendable performances. The Hyundai Venue secured the second position with 9,614 units sold, followed closely by the Hyundai Exeter at third place with 8,475 units. However, some models experienced declines in sales, including the Hyundai i10, Hyundai i20, and Hyundai Aura.

Notable performances and declines

The Hyundai Venue witnessed a slight decrease of 4 per cent in sales compared to the previous year. Similarly, the Hyundai i20 and Hyundai Aura experienced declines of 22 per cent and 46 per cent, respectively. On the other hand, models like the Hyundai Verna and Hyundai Alcazar faced more significant declines, with sales dropping by 54 per cent and 44 per cent, respectively.

Bottom performers
