New Delhi: Honda is celebrating a smashing success with the Elevate SUV in Japan. Launched just a month ago, the Elevate has already garnered a staggering 13,000 bookings, exceeding even the company's initial expectations. This remarkable feat surpasses the impressive reception it received in its home market of India, where it secured 20,000 bookings within 100 days.

Made in India, loved in Japan

The Elevate's triumph in Japan marks a significant milestone for Honda Cars India Ltd. (HCIL). Not only is the Elevate exceeding sales targets, but it's also the first HCIL model to be exported from India to Japan. This achievement underscores the growing prowess and global competitiveness of India's automotive industry.

Feature-packed; competitively priced

The Elevate's appeal lies in its compelling combination of features and affordability. The base variant, SV, boasts essential amenities like dual airbags, LED lighting, automatic climate control, and beige fabric upholstery. Higher trims offer additional luxuries, including an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with smartphone connectivity, a sunroof, and advanced driver-assistance features in the top-end ZX variant.

Powertrain, efficiency

The Elevate is powered by a 1.5-liter, four-cylinder VTEC petrol engine, generating 121 PS and 145 Nm of torque. This engine can be paired with either a 6-speed manual transmission or a CVT automatic, catering to diverse driving preferences. While exact fuel efficiency figures for the Japanese market haven't been revealed yet, estimates suggest a mileage of around 16-17 kilometers per liter.

Varying color options to choose from

With a palette of 10 distinct colors, the Elevate caters to a wide range of aesthetic preferences. The selection includes 7 single-tone shades and 3 dual-tone options, allowing buyers to personalize their ride.

Honda Elevate: A compelling choice in the Japanese market

The Elevate's early success in Japan is a testament to its well-rounded package. With its blend of practicality, technology, and competitive pricing, the Elevate is poised to be a major player in the Japanese SUV segment.
