2025 Skoda Kodiaq Review (File )
In the premium SUV segment, there was a search for the perfect vehicle, which has comfort, power and luxury. Maybe this secret recipe found its way into the hands of Skoda and it brought it to the market in Kodiaq 2025. What makes this vehicle ideal for the segment? Ideal pricing? Luxury interior? Or robust performance? Let's discuss each one individually.
The 2025 Kodiaq looks are fairly upscale and understated. With new grille and sleek LED headlamps, its appearance has turned more premium than ever. 18-inch wheels are supporting its design on the side. You will find that there are no character lines throughout the side profile, which gives the car a longer appearance. Incidentally, its length is approximately 15 feet 7 inches. Assume the height of the ceiling of 1.5 floors is equal to the house you reside in. It's too lengthy. Now let's move to the rear of the Kodiaq. Fortunately, the designers don't receive the connected LED tail lamps, though a red strip is provided in full width but there is no illumination. Whatever you say, the whole exterior of this car provides a very premium and corporate appearance.
Wherever you find your hands within the car, you will find premium and soft touch material. It is also required in this segment of the vehicle. There is a 13-inch infotainment screen, which includes everything from massage to ambient lighting, wireless Android Auto and Car Play. The user interface and touch response of the screen are also of good quality. In contrast, the LED screen is 10.25 inches. You will find all that you require in it. In addition to this, you also have a map in the MID which is clearly visible while driving. Inside, you have a big panoramic sunroof and 3-zone climate control. Whether it is the driver's seat or the third row, you will find a C-type charging port everywhere. With this, Canton's speakers and subwoofers will provide you with a theater experience. So overall, the Kodiaq 2025 interior is brimming with all the qualities.
The Kodiaq 2025 has a 2-litre turbo petrol engine that generates 204 PS of power and 320 Nm of torque. If you set aside this math for once and get its drive at large, you are left with a silent and power-filled drive. The 7-speed DSG transmission is the ideal match with it. Changing gears won't make you feel anything. Meanwhile, the suspension and drive are very comfortable. Even though you drive the Kodiaq 2025 continuously for 500 km, you won't feel exhausted. Even if you do, it is a massage seat. The compact size of the steering and accurate input will assist you in getting this long car out comfortably even in tight lanes. So if observed, the drive of Kodiaq is smooth, powerful and comforting.
See, till now, no brand has done anything remarkable in this segment, but Kodiaq has the potential to pull Indian buyers. In the era of inflation, how can anyone deny a car with so many high-end features and such a good engine at this price? Though the Kodiaq has millions of features, there are also 1-2 demerits, like the absence of Thai support in the second row. The third row is okay, but it serves no purpose. Plastic wheel caps in alloy wheels. If you overlook these limitations, then this is a good product. But the price for Sportline version of this car is 46 lakh 89 thousand rupees (ex-showroom) and the price for L&K version is 48 lakh 69 thousand rupees (ex-showroom).
