Bajaj Auto has just launched its Pulsar N250 2024 model, and it comes with a ton of new features. Priced at ₹1.51 lakh (ex-showroom), the flagship naked Pulsar retains its prior pricing structure. This action keeps the bike's price from going up while positioning it competitively.

Tech on the meter

A digital console with Bluetooth connectivity is a major improvement over the analog-digital unit of Pulsar N250's predecessor. Like the ones on the recently released Pulsar N150 and N160, the new LCD display has numerous trip meters, a gear position indicator, a digital tachometer, and other features. Furthermore, Bluetooth connectivity allows for the management of calls straight from the left switch cube, as well as functions like call and SMS alarms, phone battery status, and signal strength information.

Improvements to applaud

Technical improvements include the replacement of the telescopic units on the Pulsar N250 with USD forks up front, which improve handling. A 140-section rear tire, traction control, and three new ABS ride modes Rain, Road, and On/Off are also included. The bike is the heaviest in its class at 164 kg thanks to its new artwork and colors, Red and White, and a 2 kg increase in kerb weight. The new model's 249 cc air- and oil-cooled single-cylinder engine, which produces 21.5 Nm of torque at 6,500 rpm and 24.1 horsepower at 8,750 rpm, is still under the hood. A five-speed gearbox with an assist and slipper clutch arrangement is linked to the engine.

Additional features

The Pulsar N250 has a USB charging port, LED daytime running lights (DRLs), and a dual-function LED projector headlamp. The updated model will soon be available in showrooms, and reservations are being taken. Rivals including the Suzuki Gixxer 250, Yamaha MT-15, TVS Apache RTR 200 4V, and KTM 250 Duke compete with the revised Bajaj Pulsar N250 in an attempt to strengthen its place in the very competitive market sector.
