The wait is over for the elite class as Mercedes-Benz has launched the GLE facelift. The SUV is available with a choice of two diesel engines and a single petrol engine and the price starts at Rs 96.4 lakh. According to the sources, the model was the German brand’s second best-seller in the financial year 2023, marginally behind the GLS. The facelifted GLE LWB is available in three trims, a 2.0-litre diesel Professional Line, a 3.0-litre diesel AMG Line, and a 3.0-litre petrol AMG Line.
The all-news Mercedes-Benz GLE 300 d 4MATIC and the GLE 450 4MATIC will be available for the customers soon after the launch, whereas deliveries for the more expensive GLE 450 d will commence in January 2024.
This is not all, Mercedes-Benz India is also planning to launch the all-new C 43 AMG.

The GLE has been facelifted, and the interiors have been updated with features taken from the S-Class, such as a multifunction steering wheel with haptic feedback buttons. A 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system with wireless Apple Carplay and Android Auto, a chrome surround for the AC vents, and a 12.3-inch digital driver display are all included. Several noteworthy comfort features include a 13-speaker Burmester surround sound system, USB Type C connections and wireless charging, a 360-degree camera, and Mercedes' 'Transparent Bonnet' feature. Air suspension is also a feature of the top-spec GLE 450 and 450d.
BMW X5, Audi Q7 and Volvo XC90 are rivals of Mercedes GLE 2023 in the Indian market.
